Giving back to Gulmarg

In 2006 Martin Jones (owner and manager) formed a partnership with members of the local community to promote skiing in the towns neighbouring the Gulmarg resort and provide ski lessons to local children free of charge as well as providing equipment and training for local young men to become ski guides.

Over the past four years the New Zealand Ski Club of Kashmir has donated equipment, clothing and promoted business initiatives to allow the local community to supplement their income over the winter months.
